Food Pex India to Combine with PackTech India in 2016

PackTech India and drink technology India, will be combined with Food Pex India next year. The three trade fairs, organized by Messe Düsseldorf  and Messe München, will be held from 15th to 17th December 2016 at the Bombay Convention & Exhibition Centre in Mumbai.

The organizers are anticipating that these three trade fairs will draw over 250 exhibitors, up from 230 the 2015 figure, covering more than 14,000 sqm of exhibition space. The organizers are also expects the events to draw over 13,000 trade visitors – which would represent a more than 30% increase compared to last year’s edition.

Bernd Jablonowski, Global Portfolio Director for Packaging and Processing at Messe Düsseldorf, stated, “The Indian market shows a clear interest in food processing and food packaging. This is why, in 2014, we were already presenting suitable products and solutions at the two trade fairs. It’s a logical step to enhance this range by adding a dedicated platform under the name of FoodPex, a brand which we previously launched in China.”
