Bangkok International Trade & Exhibition Centre Books Several New Shows in 2012
Thailand-based Bangkok International Trade & Exhibition Centre will host several new MICE events in 2012, with a focus on specialized trade fairs, meetings and world congresses that have never been held in the country before.
“Since the beginning of the year 2012 till second quarter, BITEC has many new trade fairs, meetings and congress(es) at BITEC,” said Sarnit Karunyavanij, business development director of Bangkok International Trade & Exhibition Centre.
He added, “Starting with the consumer fair of Thailand Game Show 2012, the only fair for all true gamers under the concept “The New Land”, which will be held during Jan.13-15, organised by Show No Limit Company Limited, (and) followed by Horti Asia 2012, the International Tradeshow for Horticultural and Floricultural Production and Processing Technology,which will be held for the first time between May 9-11, organised by N.C.C.Exhibition Organizer Company Limited or NEO.”
In the third and fourth quarters, BITEC also has booked Fastener Fair 2012, the International Exhibition for the Fastener and Fixings Industry.“This is the first time showcase in Thailand, which will be held during Sept. 6-8, organised by Mack Brooks Exhibitions from U.K.,” Sarnit said.
The last new conference for 2012 is The Asia-Pacific Veterinary Conference (APVC 2012) & The Asia-Pacific Animal Health Summit & Expo, which will be held from Oct. 10-12, organised by the Post Graduate Foundation - Veterinary Science Mahidol University (PGF-VSMU) together with NAVC and VNU Exhibition Asia," Sarnitadded.
In addition to booking several new shows throughout 2102, the venue also is rolling out its webcasting service, the first in Thailand to do so.
“BITEC is also the first venue for the MICE industry in Thailand that offers Webcasting service, which distributes live with broadcasting audio and video over the internet all around the world to unlimited number of viewers,” Sarnit said.
