Next Generation of BIO One-on-One Partnering Unveiled for 2015 BIO International Convention
The Biotechnology Industry Organization (BIO) officials said that One-on-One Partnering™, BIO’s proprietary software system, was unveiled for the 2015 BIO International Convention, taking place June 15-18 in Philadelphia.
One-on-One Partnering™, which powers tens of thousands of individual business-to-business meetings each year at BIO events, has been newly redesigned to improve user experience and increase value for event attendees.
The new system is the result of a collaboration between BIO and INOVA, the life sciences’ leading partnering place provider.
Attendees of the 2015 BIO International Convention will be the first to experience the new system. The new system provides Outlook integration, an improved search function powered by the Thomson Reuters Cortellis™ Competitive Intelligence Platform, a new algorithm for prioritizing meetings, the ability to save searches, an integrated partnering and programming calendar, and a modern, more intuitive message center.
“BIO is always looking for ways to better serve our members and event attendees in order to fulfill our mission of healing, fueling and feeding the world,” said Scott Whitaker, president of the BIO International Convention.
He added, “BIO’s One-on-One Partnering, and the meetings that it facilitates, are a critical part of fulfilling that mission. The new system will enable all BIO conference attendees to have a more productive event experience, facilitating the partnerships and connections which are the bedrock of our industry.”
The system also will include One-on-One Plus Partnering ™, powered by INOVA, a brand new module designed to help attendees better prepare for and follow-up on their meetings.
It’s a secure, private and integrated environment where conference attendees can collaborate internally with their entire team, including colleagues who are not attending the conference.
For the 2015 BIO International Convention the use of the module by partnering attendees is free in the weeks leading-up to and following the event.
