This reduces set up time, keeps event planners organized and increases staff communication, creating smoother and safer events.

Alyssa Lancefield, Sales Director for InitLive added “We are really happy to be here with EventCollab and are excited to be recognized at ibtm america and add another accolade to our list of awards.  It’s our first time at ibtm america and we are hearing from a lot of people that they are excited about what we do.”

EventCollab is an online-based, event planning software designed to fill the need for a tool that enables users to easily collaborate with all stakeholders. It allows users to share schedules and documents, track time, assign tasks, and chat.

Megan Powers, Marketing for EventCollab said of her award “It’s fantastic to have been voted as one of the joint winners.  Being recognized for a product intended to make people’s jobs more efficient and collaborative in this industry is awesome”.

ibtm america partnered with DAHLIA+ to launch the TechCollecitve, which featured live demonstrations from some of the industry’s leading emerging event technology suppliers.

Other event technology innovators who participated in this year’s TECHCollective included Conferences.io, Meetoo, Hubvents, CadmiumCD’s, eventr.io and Zerista. In addition to the live demonstrations conducted by these exhibitors, attendees were able to sit in on bite-sized education sessions covering current hot topics and trends as part of the Spotlight Stage.

Jaime McAuley, Event Director, ibtm america commented, “The TechCollective was created to showcase the leading start-ups in event technology and serve as not only a space for Hosted Buyers to touch, feel and play with potential business partners’ products, but an educational platform for everyone to learn about the latest technology solutions.

“Our “Innovation in Motion Award” recognizes the event technology pioneer whose vision is most transforming the industry, and was voted on by our attendees using their Poken devices. We had a great turn out this year and are very pleased that everyone got a chance to see what these rising stars can do—I’m already excited for next year!”

Both InitLive and EventCollab will receive a complimentary meeting pod at ibtm america 2017, a diary of 100% mutually matched appointments, PR and promotion through ibtm events global database and exposure in the ibtm world innovation zone.
