IAEE's Art of the Show Competition Now Open

June 29, 2016

The International Association of Exhibitions and Events (IAEE) has opened the 2016 Art of the Show Competition and entries are being accepted through Sept. 30.

The IAEE Art of the Show Competition recognizes excellence in the development of promotional and marketing materials for exhibitions and events.

This year, IAEE has expanded the competition to include a new category: Social Media Campaign. The remaining category descriptions have been significantly expanded which in turn brings clarity to the judging criteria.

“It is always exciting to see the innovative ways in which our industry promotes itself,” said IAEE President and CEO David DuBois, CMP, CAE, FASAE, CTA. “The objective of this competition is to celebrate the important role exhibition and event marketers play in keeping our industry vibrant.”

The competition includes 15 categories for three show sizes: less than 75,000 net square feet (nsf); 75,001-200,000 nsf; and over 200,000 nsf. A first-place winner and an honorable mention, when applicable, will be selected for each category. From the first-place entries, an independent panel of judges may select the top submission for the Best of Show recognition. This entry truly reflects the very best of the annual Art of the Show competition. The categories are:
