i2i Events to Launch CWIEME Shanghai in 2014

June 10, 2013

i2i Events Group announced the launch of a new Shanghai edition to its Coil Winding, Insulation and Electrical Manufacturing Exhibitions (CWIEME) portfolio of events, CWIEME Shanghai. The event will take place at the Shanghai International Exhibition Centre (INTEX) from 3rd to 5th March 2014.

The CWIEME series of exhibitions serve the industrial technology niche of components for electric motors and transformers. The Shanghai event will be co-organised with the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade, Electronics and Information Industry Sub Council (CCPITECC), a global partner of i2i Events.

Gordon Payne, international director of i2i Events, commented, “China is a key growth area for i2i going forward. With an office already established in Shanghai and our partnership with CCPITECC, we are confident that we will be able to create another world leading forum for the coil winding, insulations and electrical manufacturing technology industry… We will also be investing in the content aspect of the event, the Inductica conference programme, to present the latest innovations from China and around the world.”

i2i Events acquired the CWIEME series from its private owners in September 2012. CWIEME Shanghai is the latest addition following the launch of CWIEME Shenzhen as a joint venture with VNU Exhibitions in 2012.
