Description
HLC’s annual conference provides opportunities for its member institutions and their employees to engage with their colleagues, the HLC staff, and leading thinkers, researchers and practitioners in the field of higher education. Attendees gain professional development and networking opportunities as well as exposure to knowledge, practices and inspiration for their work in the field.
The 2017 annual conference will focus on the role of accreditation in Navigating the Future of higher education during a time of great change. In pursuit of HLC's strategic directions and the goal of helping institutions remain agile and responsive, questions to be investigated throughout the conference include: How do universities and accreditors think about student outcomes outside the narrow confines of graduation and retention rates? What are the best practices for student success for each type of institution? What is accreditation’s role in responding to rapid social change or social challenges on campuses? In what ways does accreditation serve the public good?
Join HLC March 31–April 4 in Chicago to learn and contribute to thinking about how accreditation can navigate the road ahead.
