Description

The U.S. Energy Information Administration (EIA) predicts the United States will continue to be a global energy leader for decades to come with the Appalachian Basin driving gains in domestic energy production growth. “As the U.S. remains a global energy superpower, domestic energy exports will increase and consumption among manufacturing and power generation will grow,” the EIA reported. The Appalachian Basin leads U.S. natural gas production and EIA expects the Marcellus and Utica shale plays will be key drivers behind increased domestic natural gas production.

However, persistent low natural gas prices are inhibiting capital spend and limiting production volumes across Appalachia. Public and private companies alike are pulling back as the gas price collapse reduces profitability. During Hart Energy’s combined DUG East and Marcellus-Utica MIDSTREAM Conference and Exhibition attendees will hear some of the region’s most active operators discuss their approaches to this most challenging of markets –including how they are addressing balance sheet concerns, tapping capital markets and refinancing debt.

This conference provides a place for influential executives to meet and the perfect environment to help you refine marketing strategies and accelerate product development. It’s a hotbed of collaboration toward a common goal: Finding innovative solutions to help this formidable gas rich region thrive.
