Pet Fair Asia to Exceed 100,000 m2
The 20th edition of Pet Fair Asia will open next month running from 24th to 27th August at the Shanghai New International Expo Centre (SNIEC). The event is positioned as one of the largest in the region and covers the dog, cat, rodent, reptile and aquatic segments.
Organised by VNU Exhibition Asia, Pet Fair Asia will occupy eight halls at SNIEC covering an exhibition space of 100,000 m2. Over 1,000 exhibitors will participate in the fair with country pavilions from New Zealand, South Korea, Japan, Taiwan, Hong Kong and Brazil – as well as international booths from over 30 other countries. VNU Exhibitions Asia will also organise conferences to be held concurrently with the exhibition which will address hot topics and issues impacting the pet industry in Asia.
Until recently, the opportunity to have a celebrity attend an event, attach themselves to a name-brand or endorse a certain product or idea was untouchable. The thought of paying a person to promote a product was seen as something only Fortune 500 companies could afford. Social media has changed all that with brands and businesses utilizing celebrity influencers to connect directly with their demographics and increase sales and profits.
