Michael Duck, executive vice president for commercial development at Informa Markets and Informa Group, is the president-elect for UFI, the global association for the exhibitions industry. The role, spanning 2022-2023, will become official at the conclusion of the 88th UFI Global Congress, set for Nov. 3-6, 2021 in Rotterdam, The Netherlands. Trade show, exhibition and the event professionals took a moment to celebrate the industry’s worth and influence before a grand kickoff of shows begins to flood the global marketplace. As the tourism industry gears up for a bullish recovery, Destinations International, the global trade association for destination organizations, has been busy forming a new alliance while shoring up an existing partnership in preparation for better times ahead. UFI Returns to Live Events With MEA Conference in Dubai

UFI, the Global Association of the Exhibition Industry, is marking its return to live events with its UFI MEA Conference 2021, taking place May 26 in Dubai. Available to members and non-members, the UFI Certified Professional (UCP) is a self-paced, customizable certification program that includes UFI’s existing educational offerings as well as modules offered by a network of global educational partners.
