VIP Guest Invites Helps UBM Events Generate Huge Increase In Invited Attendee Registrations

October 5, 2018

With the help of a newly launched exhibitor co-marketing solution, VIP Guest Invites, some major U.S. trade shows are seeing a significant spike in invited guest attendance.

The new system, recently launched in partnership with several UBM events, empowers event organizers to offer their exhibitors a free, fully customized marketing toolkit to simply and easily promote their show presence as well as invite customers and prospects to an event.

“We started VIP Guest Invites to assist frustrated event managers who were seeing low engagement in existing exhibitor co-marketing solutions because they were too complicated, too limiting or way too expensive,” explained Dave Einzig, president of VIP Guest Invites.

He continued, “Through extensive research and conversations with event managers and hundreds of exhibitors, we created a completely fresh and innovative new technology platform that finally gives exhibitors what they have been waiting for: a single, customized, pre-show marketing destination with everything they need to promote their presence at upcoming events to their customers and prospects.”

The process is simple: exhibitors are provided with a promo code that they can then share with customers and prospects using a comprehensive, user-friendly variety of methods including customized emails, banner graphics, signatures, social media posts and landing page links.

“The best part is that it only takes an exhibitor 1-2 minutes to participate and they don’t need to share their sensitive customer email lists to do so,” Einzig added. “VIP Guest Invites is the most effective and cost-effective solution available today.

For UBM Events, the new solution has produced significant upticks in exhibitor co-marketing participation and invited attendee registrations at some of their shows within the past year, with a 355 percent increase in participating exhibitors and a 245 percent increase in invited guest registrations compared to when previous exhibitor co-marketing platforms were offered, according to VIP Guest Invites officials.

“We worked with VIP Guest Invites on several recent trade shows and have seen strong increases in both exhibitor participation and attendee registrations,” said Denise Rosplock, UBM vice president of marketing.

She continued, “Our exhibitors have a much more robust, multi-channel marketing resource; their participation in the tool and ultimately, the results it facilitated, makes it clear we are heading in the right direction. We are looking forward to continuing to work with Dave and his team to further innovate the platform, optimize the exhibitor experience and build on the momentum we have going.”

Since its successful trial run with UBM, the company has been staying busy creating new features and updates that will soon be available to event organizers.

“We were thrilled to launch the platform with UBM and garner such great results for their events,” Einzig said. “We have now branched out and I am very proud to see such strong adoption by the trade show industry, with events as large as PACK EXPO International, WEFTEC and PRINT, to name just a few recent launches, also engaging with us.”

He added, “It is clear we have built a strong marketing platform, but what is most exciting is the opportunity we now have to build on this foundation with new features that will bring exhibitor engagement and attendee registration rates to even higher levels.”
